Lotte Signiel Seoul Swimming Pool Review, & Fitness: In addition to the previous posts about Signiel Seoul, including the Deluxe Room Review and Lounge Experience, I will now begin Part 2. This time, I’ll introduce the additional facilities available for Signiel guests to enjoy. This is an honest review post based on my one-night stay.

Swimming Pool – 85th
- Operating Hours: 06:00 – 22:00
- Swimwear required, swimming caps available for rent (Entry and use not allowed after consuming alcohol).
All guests can enjoy the swimming pool for free!
I’ll provide you with some important information to know before heading to the swimming pool.
When heading to the swimming pool, here’s a tip:
Wear your swimsuit in your room before going to the pool. There are robes under the sink in every room, so you can put one on over your swimsuit if you’d like.
You can place the robe on the sunbeds inside the swimming pool area and cover it after swimming, then return it to your room later.
The slippers found in the room’s closet can also be worn when going to the swimming pool!
The way to enter the swimming pool:
Before entering, you need to check in at the front desk for room verification, and then you’ll be allowed to enter.
I went to the swimming pool once in the evening on the first day and once at 6:00 AM on the second day during my one-night stay.
You can use the swimming pool as many times as you want during your hotel stay without any restrictions.
It’s definitely more enjoyable when you go in the early morning as there are hardly any people around, making it much more relaxing!
The swimming pool isn’t very large, so when I visited in the evening, it was quite crowded. But when I went in the morning, I had both lanes to myself, and it was much more enjoyable.
There’s a sauna inside the swimming pool area, but it’s for an additional fee. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using the sauna for an extra charge.
The Signiel Seoul is located on the 123rd floor, which is quite high, and for safety reasons, it seems that they didn’t make the swimming pool very large.

There was always a safety guard present, and they provided child-sized life vests and kickboards.
The water depth seemed to be around 1.3 meters!
You can shower before entering the water!
Swim caps are available for rent upon request.
There’s also a small hot tub available. It’s not very big, but it can be nice for kids to warm up in before swimming and playing.
If you want to enjoy the tranquility when there are fewer people around, I recommend coming early in the morning.
I’m a morning person myself, and when I visited in the morning alone, it was so quiet and enjoyable.
Once you’re done using the swimming pool, you can use a towel to remove excess water and then head back to your room!

Fitness – 85th
- Operating hours: 06:00 – 22:00
- Gym attire and workout socks available for rent, please bring your own workout shoes.
- (Not allowed after consuming alcohol)
There is a fitness center right next to the swimming pool building.
I accidentally forgot my workout shoes, but they did provide me with a spare pair! However, please note that it’s recommended to bring your own workout shoes.
If you plan to use the facility after enjoying cocktails or alcohol in the lounge, please be aware that entry won’t be allowed.
There were more exercise machines besides the ones I took pictures of, but it was quite crowded, so I couldn’t capture them all in photos.
I didn’t really know how to use the exercise machines, so I just used the treadmill.
I brought a USB charger, and it was convenient because I could charge my device while working out.
All the equipment looked brand new and was impeccably clean, which was really nice.
Exercising with a river view right in front of you is simply amazing!
If you visit in the evening, you can enjoy running while taking in the night view!
They provide water and towels, and there’s also a space to sit down and do some stretching.
It may not be very large, but it’s such a great space to use for free! 🙂
Similarly, you can use the fitness center without any restrictions on the number of visits during your stay at the hotel!
