Although they are 5-star hotels, I will introduce the most popular hotels in Korea recently. It is currently a 5-star hotel, but it can easily be considered as a 7-star luxury hotel. The check-in waiting time was a bit long! Even though it was a weekday, it seemed like a full house in the lobby.

I found the check-in and check-out times at Signiel Seoul a bit inconvenient. Typically, hotels have a 2:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out, or a 3:00 PM check-in and 12:00 PM check-out.
However, Signiel Seoul had a slower check-in process compared to other places and a faster check-out. When I looked at other reviews, some mentioned a 12:00 PM check-out, while others mentioned 11:00 AM check-out. It seemed like Signiel Seoul might have different policies for different rooms.
Upon arriving at the room, I noticed that it was quite cloudy outside, with some snowfall.
‘But it’s okay.’
According to the weather forecast, it was expected to clear up in the evening.
I also reserved a Han River view for the bathroom, and like everyone else, I highly recommend it! 👍🏻👍🏻
You can enjoy a refreshing Han River view from both the bathroom and the shower. Booking a Han River view is highly dependent on the weather. Lately, Seoul has had more cloudy days than clear ones, making it challenging to book on good dates.
Even when you check the weather forecast in advance, it can change slightly each time.

It’s so nice that they provided bath salts and bath tea! ❤️

What was a bit unique and distinctive was that they had needles and thread.
It came in handy as I needed to sew on a button!

When staying at Signiel Seoul, you can also enjoy access to the lounge called ‘Salon de Signiel.’ We also thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lounge. ☺️
I was fortunate to snag a seat by the window with a perfect view of the sunset! It was a delightful experience to watch the sunset, and the potato chips were incredibly delicious too. ❤️
The cookies and snacks were also great, and there was quite a variety of beverages available. Considering it’s complimentary, we were quite satisfied. 😉
If you’re considering it as a meal replacement, be aware that it’s snack-focused, so it might be a bit light. Also, please keep in mind that seating is limited, and there might be a waiting list.
In the evening, we enjoyed exploring the lobby of Lotte Tower Hotel. Many other people were also taking lots of photos here.
Signiel Seoul Hotel has a large department store called ‘Lotte Mart’ in the basement. We bought steak, wine, and fruits from Lotte Mart. We even got a bottle to take home.

Honestly, it was so tough! 😓😂 I remember trying it when they first started offering the option to grill it yourself, and it was tough back then too. This time, it was just as tough, so I’ve decided I won’t be having it again in the future. 😅
I took a picture of the Signiel Seoul Hotel lobby on my way back from shopping at the mart. This place was bustling with people when we checked in.
The view of Seoul from Signiel Seoul is truly stunning. The river you see is called the ‘Han River.
I highly recommend the Han River view. I’m also planning to book a room with a Han River view the next time I visit.
I ordered omelet, salmon, sausage, and pancakes for in-room breakfast at Signiel Seoul. There’s a brochure in the desk drawer, and it’s in an American style.
I also tried the grapefruit juice, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite suit my taste. 😭😭
The staff who took our breakfast order were incredibly kind. Even when we called late at night, their enthusiasm was… 👍🏻👍🏻 Truly exceptional.
I felt great even after hanging up. In Korea, there’s no tipping culture. All services are included in the food prices, so there’s no need to tip when receiving service. Just keep that in mind. Giving tips can actually cause confusion and, in some situations, might even make you appear naive. Therefore, it’s a common convention in Korea not to give tips.
